Kaji & Associates was originally formed to manage the private real estate portfolio of the principal's family.
Since 1984, the practice has enlarged to include brokerage, tenant representation and property management.
The firm has developed a wide-range of product types, including residential, retail and office properties, primarily in Southern California.
Kaji & Associates has also developed an extensive network of corporate and government contacts both in Japan and South Korea.
Mr. Kaji has lectured on real estate matters both in California and Japan, focusing on undervalued real estate holdings of Japanese companies located both in Japan and in the United States. In 2003, the firm organized the first U.S.-Japan Real Estate Summit, between the National Association of Realtors and the Japanese real estate industry, held in Tokyo, Japan.

Tenant Representation
Kaji & Associates represents the interests of tenants in lease negotiations and review of Common Area Maintenance (CAM) expenses.
The current recession has created an opportunity for tenants to re-negotiate more-favorable lease terms with landlords. Kaji & Associates works with tenants to achieve the best economic solutions, enabling our clients to continue operations during these challenging times.

Property Management
Kaji & Associates currently manages retail, industrial and office properties primarily for its own account. The firm has been engaged by property owners as both a consultant and property management firm. These engagements include the repositioning of properties in changing markets by creating new tenant mixes and synergies, thereby adding value.
Kaji & Associates is a licensed Real Estate Brokerage in the State of California (DRE #00879502) and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and the South Bay Association of Realtors.
